Meet the founder, Khris Artis

As a naturally gifted artist, Khris Artis became a self taught tattooer. Beginning at the age of 16, Khris is proud to say that tattooing is the only career he’s ever had. He truly dedicated his life to the craft — which led him to open the first Artis Inks Tattoo in 2011.

Black and grey realism quickly became Khris’s favorite style due to its versatility and depth. With over twenty years of experience, Khris Artis has quickly become well known across Cincinnati for his finely tuned, and compelling black and grey tattoos.

Khris Artis recently opened up his second location, Artis Inks OTR in 2022.
